Did
you know that you have a purpose in life? Most people know this, but
struggle to figure out what that purpose is. The problem is most people
are looking in the wrong place. To find your purpose, you must first
know why you where created. Ah, the age old question: "What is the
meaning of life?"
Theologians, philosophy majors, and a lot of other smart people, with
letters behind their names, have been trying to figure this one out for
centuries. I think the reason they have not figured it out is not
because it is so hard, but because it is so simple. Well, I know the
answer and I'll share it with you. The meaning of life, the reason you
were created is this. . .
. . .to have a relationship with Father God! ! !
There it is.
The Bible says that you were "fearfully and wonderfully made". It also
says that "you were made in the very image of God" and that "He knew
you before you were even formed in your mother's womb". He has had a
plan and purpose for your life this whole time. Some people have heard
that they were a "mistake" or an "accident", that your parents did not
mean to have you. Let me tell you what God says about this. You may
have been unexpected by your parents, but you are not a mistake. God
does not make mistakes or have accidents! He created you to have a
relationship with Him. And outside of that relationship, it is
impossible to find your purpose in life. The Bible also says: "For I
know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of
peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end". This simply means
that God loves you and has a great plan for your life. It is up to you
to accept this or to reject this.
